Our Newsletter provides an update on the Air Force Historical Foundation’s developments and goals
Our latest Newsletter (Volume 5, Number 1) includes a review of 2007, and looks ahead to the activity in 2008 – including the Foundation’s October awards banquet, which will feature the second annual Spaatz and Holley Awards plus other Foundation recognitions. The Newsletter describes how members can submit nominations for the 2008 Spaatz and Holley Awards, which were created in honor of General Carl “Tooey” Spaatz and Major General I. B. Holley.
A call for members willing to share past issues of the Air Power History magazine also is included in the Newsletter. The Foundation is missing certain issues of this official quarterly journal, and is seeking to complete the collection in order to electronically archive all 54 years of Air Power History and include them on its Website.
