Join the foundation that connects the past and future of the U.S. Air Force.

The Air Force Historical Foundation can help you explore the history of American aviation and air power and help you understand how generations of officers and enlisted personnel since 1909 have made the United States Air Force the standard of excellence throughout the world. By becoming a member, you help us foster aviation and airpower history throughout America.

As a new member of the Foundation, you will receive Air Power History magazine, a nationally acclaimed quarterly magazine that sets the benchmark of excellence among aviation magazines.

The Foundation also sponsors a biographical book program that provides insight into past air operations and decision-making.

You will be encouraged to attend the Foundation's excellent biennial symposiums on aviation and airpower topics of special interest.

Our 2009 symposium, to be held on October 8 in Arlington, Virginia, will center on the theme: The Balkans Air Campaigns in the 1990s and Their Influence Since 2001 – with participation by USAF Chief of Staff Gen Norton Schwartz, former Air Force Chief of Staff Gen Mike Ryan, Dr. John Nagl and Mr Ben Lambeth, noted analyst and author from the Rand Corporation.

See the 2009 Symposium event page for additional information.
